The Georges is a series of historic buildings that offer wonderful rooms and service. We stayed in the Livery and it was clean and well decorated. I loved the tall windows and high ceilings. Service was excellent as well.

A cooked breakfast of our choice was waiting for us the next morning in one of their restaurants, TAPS. The hotel buildings are full of history: The Washington Building (1789), The Marshall Building (1809), Lawyer’s Row (1846), and The Livery (1887). Their restaurants are Haywood’s Piano Bar and Grill, Annie’s at Haywood’s, and TAPS. They also offer several event venues for rental and catering.

I highly recommend The Georges.
